A2 Milk looks to snap up 75.1% of Mataura Valley

A2 Milk is looking to buy 75.1 percent of Mataura Valley Milk for approximately $270 million. Mataura Valley has agreed to provide A2 Milk a period of exclusivity to conduct confirmatory due diligence and negotiate definitive transaction documentation.  The deal is backed by Mataura Valley majority shareholder, China Animal Husbandry Group, which would retain a 24.9 percent interest in the company, A2 Milk said in a statement on NZX.
