AgriZeroNZ has invested nearly $10 million into a United States startup working on a vaccine to reduce the methane output of ruminant animals.AgriZeroNZ is a joint venture (JV), half owned by the NZ government and half by a collection of local agriculture businesses.The US$6m (NZ$9.9m) investment into ArkeaBio is the JV’s second investment into methane vaccines, having already invested in a NZ research programme.Led by former NZ resident Colin South, the startup raised US$26.5m in its series A funding round.AgriZeroNZ chief executive Wayn...
