'Disappointing outlook' for T&G Global in FY21

Shipping delays and harvest labour shortages will hit the earnings of fresh produce exporter, importer and producer T&G Global hard in the second half of the current financial year.In a statement to the NZX this morning, the company warned of a “disappointing outlook” for the year to Dec 31.Net profit for the year is forecast to be between $4 million and $10m, compared with $16.6m in 2020.The lower end of the range suggests T&G will be barely profitable in the second half of the current financial year, having reported after-...
