Fonterra once again lifted its forecast payout for its farmer shareholders on strong demand but noted the high input costs put pressure on the cooperative’s earnings.The dairy cooperative now expects to pay $7.30-to-$7.90 per kilogram of milk solids, up from a prior forecast of $6.90-to-$7.50 per kgMS.The midpoint of the range, which farmers are paid off, has increased to $7.60 per kgMS and the lift means Fonterra will now pump more than $11.5 billion into the economy through milk payments.The increase is due to consistent strong demand f...
