Fonterra plans to invest $150 million into its Edendale site to build a new UHT cream plant.This comes after the co-op announced last week that it was investing $75m into its Studholme site to create a hub for its high-value proteins.The expansion of that site, outside Waimate, will increase its manufacturing capacity for the proteins used in medical nutrition and high-protein sports products.Fonterra is currently going through a process to divest its consumer business, which will enable it to focus on its ingredients and foodser...
