One of Comvita’s largest shareholders has come out swinging at a group attempting to block Florenz’s bid, saying she does not believe the company’s current management team can turn its performance around.And any delay in a resolution around its ownership structure will “irreplaceably damage the brand” built up over decades and put several hundred jobs at risk.Comvita’s board has backed an 80c per share offer, via a scheme of arrangement, for the struggling listed mānuka honey business by Florenz, a subsidiary...
