The ANZ World Commodity Price Index lifted 15% year-on-year in 2024, with the largest gains made by dairy and meat. The index was up 0.2% month-on-month in December. In New Zealand dollar terms the NZD Trade Weighted Index lifted by 3.6% month-on-month in December and was up 24.7% in 2024 versus the prior year.  The meat and fibre index rose 23% in 2024 but eased 0.3% month-on-month in December.
