Seeka’s revenue has climbed 34% as kiwifruit volumes in New Zealand and across the Tasman increased.The NZ Exchange-listed (NZX) kiwifruit grower and packer handled 44% more kiwifruit in NZ in the six months to June, with net profit after tax up 63% to $17 million.Its profit was knocked after a one-off deferred tax expense from changes in tax legislation for the deductibility of buildings.Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were up 88% to $68m.'Demand remains strong'In its announcement, the...
