Zhiqiang Li has taken the helm as acting chief executive of Westland Milk Products, effective today.The move follows the resignation of former CEO Richard Wyeth.Li will continue as executive director of Yili Group in Australia and New Zealand.Li said Wyeth joined the company four years ago when Yili was investing heavily in Westland’s future and managed its path to growth while turning around the profitability of the company.Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group bought the cash-strapped West Coast dairy company in August 2019 for $588 mill...
