Arvida worth acquisition offer price, independent report says

An independent report by corporate advisory firm Grant Samuel says Arvida is worth what a United States private equity company is willing to pay for it. A month ago, Arvida told the market it had entered into an agreement to sell all shares at $1.70 to Stonepeak BidCo and that the board endorsed the deal. The announcement prompted a sector-wide rally led by Arvida shares, which shot up 55% to $1.60. They currently sit at $1.65.
