Auckland developer collapse leaves $40m in debt, IRD top creditor

A flurry of liquidators' reports has revealed that several companies jointly owned by two Auckland-based developers have gone into liquidation owing over $40 million.Steven Khov and Kieran Jones, of Khov Jones, were appointed to KBS Construction, South Pacific Green Development, Pooks Green Development, Hobson Green, Henderson Green and Swanson Project on Oct 3.All of the firms list Wei Liu and Xu Xin as joint shareholders.Between all six companies, there is $14.7m in preferential debts outstanding to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD).
