Australian firm buys NZ's Builderscrack for $12m

ASX-listed Hipages Group has snapped up online trade networking company Builderscrack for A$11.8 million ($12.4m) in a cash and shares deal.Hipages, a software-as-a-service (Saas) provider and Australia's largest online tradie marketplace, will buy 100% of Builderscrack with 80% of the purchase price paid in cash and the remainder as equity.Builderscrack, owned by MyQuote Limited, was co-founded in 2006 by Jeremy Wyn-Harris, Mark Dickson and Keith Roberts. Last year, it posted 95,000 jobs on its platform across 4,000 active tradies, fa...
