Residential property developer Rua Whare owes $80 million to its lender, the latest receivers’ report for the failed entity shows.US-owned financier Arena Alceon NZ appointed receivers to the Auckland firm and its wholly owned subsidiary DDL Estates in April 2023.At the time, Rua Whare was developing 32 townhouses on the corner of Flat Bush School Road in Flat Bush, while DDL Estates was partway through a development of 23 walk-up apartments in Arthur St, Ellerslie.Rua Whare is 100% owned by Harjit Dheil, one of the developers behind the...
