Pyne Gould Corporation managing director George Kerr has lost his appeal against a $65 million summary judgment in favour of the Bank of New Zealand.Bank of NZ (BNZ) served Kerr with a bankruptcy notice in June after gaining summary judgment against the expat NZ investor in 2023.The debt dates back 15 years and relates to loans from BNZ to two Kerr entities, Pyne Holdings and Lothian Partners Capital, which he had guaranteed.In 2023, Kerr appealed his liability for the loan and the judgment amount and claimed the summary judgment process was in...
