Queenstown-based property developer Chris Meehan’s near decade-long quarrel to reclaim his splendid mountain views finally yielded justice late last year, with the Invercargill high court ruling against an “inescapably” high mound of earth.The 5 metre high, 90m long mound has been the source of trouble since 2014 when it was built just beyond Meehan’s southern boundary on his Speargrass Flat Road property by his neighbour, Fred van Brandenburg. A renowned architect, van Brandenburg had the mound built to that height...
