Metroglass annual net profit may fall more than 24%

Metro Performance Glass said it expects to report earnings before interest and tax between $16.5 million and $18m compared with a restated $21m the previous year.That's a decline between 17.4% and 24.3%.Metroglass actually reported ebit before writedowns of $23.2m for the year ended March 2020, so, measured against that yardstick, this year's result would be down as much as 29%.The previous result was down from $25.2m in 2019, while its net result for 2020 was a $77.9m loss.The company said net debt will fall to $49m, an $18m decrease i...
