Pet food millionaire and serial New Zealand motorsport racetrack owner Tony Quinn has stepped up with a $1.04 per share offer to take over Taupō’s Bruce McLaren Park.The bid is the second time around for the owner of the Hampton Downs and Highlands motor racing facilities in the Waikato and near Cromwell, respectively.Quinn last tried to buy the racetrack in 2015 when it was going through financial difficulty.
