A Mt Ruapehu stakeholder group has voiced concerns that the North Island's only ski fields won't be operational in time for this winter's season.The Ruapehu Skifields Stakeholders Association (RSSA), which represents mountain users, local iwi and locals, said there is now only a limited window to ensure the Whakapapa and Tūroa hills are up and running. That, it said, was on the back of poor management and "interference" by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) since Ruapehu Alpine Lifts (RAL)...
