A decision on the merger of the North and South Island Foodstuffs co-operatives has been pushed back, with the regulator saying it will now release an issues paper.Foodstuffs North Island and Foodstuffs South Island operate as separate co-operatives, but with the proposed merger they would become a single national grocery entity.The Commerce Commission says it has decided to publish a Statement of Issues for the merger application in “due course”.The commission was originally scheduled to decide by April 4, but it and the two co-ope...
