Consumer New Zealand says many products labelled with supermarket card discounts might be cheaper in stores that don't use loyalty schemes.Using supermarket prices collected from Auckland and Wellington over a month, Consumer analysed 48 products with a Countdown Onecard or New World Clubcard discount. Products analysed were also available at Pak’nSave and The Warehouse, which don’t use loyalty discount schemes for their supermarket products.“Three-quarters of the loyalty discounted products we looked at were ava...
