Lachlan MacDonald claims a manager walked into Harvey Norman’s Hastings store in November last year and terminated his contract without warning. He had worked 16 years for the firm at the time.  The Hastings-based father of two alleges that the conversation with the general manager of furniture Graeme Duck lasted ten minutes and he was given 15 minutes to leave the premises with no explanation.
