Clothing retailer Hallenstein Glasson pushed sales up by more than a fifth to $351 million for the 12 months to Aug 1, on the strength of online sales and a focus on US based customers.The NZX listed firm, which operates the Glassons and Hallenstein Bros brands, recorded a net profit of $33.3m, an increase of 20% on last year’s $27.8m. That was tailored back slightly by freight costs and unfavourable US dollar exchange rates in its trans-Tasman markets. The company claimed wage subsidies of $5.1m in New Zealand and $5m from Australia...
