KMD Brands' efforts to turn around Kathmandu appear to be paying off, with the outdoor brand’s sales trends improving for five consecutive quarters. On Wednesday, the owner of Rip Curl, Kathmandu and Oboz footwear reported a $20.7m statutory net loss after tax for the six months to Jan 31, versus a $9.7m loss in the prior comparable period.At 1pm on Wednesday, shares were down 2.7% to 36 cents.The firm reported underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (ebitda) of $3.9m, down 74.3% year-on-year&nbs...
