Good Spirits Hospitality has quit its $21.3 million acquisition of Soul Bar-owner Nourish Group as the tumultuous state of New Zealand’s hospitality sector made it too hard to get the deal over the line.The NZX-listed pub owner said while a “major shareholder” supported the deal and agreed to provide the debt portion of the transaction, “interest from potential equity partners has been materially impacted”.
