Hardware and gardening supplies giant Mitre 10 recorded its first positive month of monthly revenue growth this year in October, with a “slow” recovery now in prospect, says chief executive Andrea Scown.In an interview with BusinessDesk, Scown said first-quarter sales since July 1 were 3% down on the previous year, but October had been the first “green month”, with sales 1.5% higher than they were in October last year.October 2023’s sales had been 3% lower than October 22 and sales in that month were 4% below Octob...
