Westfield shopping centre owner and developer Scentre Group will pay a half-year dividend of 7.5 cents per stapled security on the strength of a $900 million increase in retail sales, which hit A$12 billion ($13.4b) for the first six months to June.That’s up from 7c a share for the comparable period to June 2021.The Australian stock exchange-listed group holds a controlling 51% interest across the five Westfield malls in New Zealand, alongside Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC.
