Tesla New Zealand overtook several rivals as the government’s feebate scheme gave the electric car maker a fuel injection, pushing its annual close to half a billion dollars. The NZ arm of the automaker that helped turn the global industry on its head more than doubled its revenue to $499.5 million in calendar 2022, from $230.7m a year earlier, and spat out a profit of $8.1m, up from $2.2m a year earlier.
