The Warehouse Group says trading in the new financial year remains subdued as it reported a small operating profit for the year that just ended.Alongside its full-year result for the year to Aug 3, New Zealand’s largest listed retailer by revenue said sales and gross profit for the first seven weeks of fiscal 2026 are tracking at similar levels to last year. Chair Joan Withers, who will hand over the role to former interim chief executive John Journee in November, said the retail outlook remains “tough and unpredictable".&...
