Freightways won’t pay a final dividend after its net profit fell 25 percent and amid ongoing uncertainty about the economic impact of covid-19. "The board feels the prudent course of action is to not declare a final dividend for FY20 given the uncertainty in both the New Zealand and Australian markets,” it said.
