New Zealand Post call centre jobs are gradually shifting to Manila in the Philippines as a cost-cutting measure, the E tū union says. While current workers will keep their jobs, vacancies in NZ will not be filled, with roles moving overseas instead, the union said.A NZ Post spokeswoman said the company has had a small team in Manila since 2010 and was now proposing to expand it to meet customer care demand.The plan included establishing an initial team of about 15 people in May.'Stronger together'“We remain committed to havin...
