The head of a company fully owned by the Southland Regional Development Agency is the Prime Minister's Space Prize for Professional Excellence winner.Robin McNeill MNZM is the founder and chief executive officer of Space Operations New Zealand (SpaceOps) and is the first winner of the $100,000 prize for people working in the space or advanced aviation sectors.Students Cairo Akehurst of Cashmere High School in Christchurch and Tianyi Mathur of Scots College in Wellington jointly won a space prize for student endeavour.They will share $50,000...
