Spark NZ raises broadband, landline prices, blames Chorus ruling

By Edwin Mitson Dec. 17 (BusinessDesk) - Spark New Zealand is to increase the price of its broadband and landline plans from the beginning of February following the Commerce Commission's decision to allow Chorus to raise the cost of access to its copper wire network. The cost for a Spark user with a broadband and landline plan will rise by $5 a month, the Auckland-based company said in a statement.
