Talley’s sues nutriceuticals firm in mussels spat

Talley’s Group has taken a small nutriceutical producer it supplied to court, claiming it breached their agreements.  According to the judgment of associate judge Peter Andrew, the family-owned food group is suing Biomex Trustees and seven other related parties claiming a supply agreement for mussels was breached.  The shellfish is supplied to MacLab, which makes the mussels into supplements and on-sells them to another company.   The case is in its very early stages, but had a hearing in the High Court at Auckland last month over the...
