Recent changes in leadership at Soul Machines may indicate a new direction for the company in search of a market for its digital human products.Founded in New Zealand in 2016 by Mark Sagar and Greg Cross, Soul Machines quickly became renowned for creating interactive, human-like digital avatars.The company raised a total of US$135 million (NZ$225.5m), including US$70m in its latest fundraising round in 2022.The founders have now stepped down both as directors on the board and from their operational roles but will be staying on in advisory roles...
