ComCom finalises copper withdrawal rules for Chorus

The Commerce Commission today finalised the Copper Withdrawal Code, the rules Chorus must abide by during New Zealand's transition to fibre broadband services and phases out the country's old copper network.The code is designed to protect consumers who live in areas of the country that don’t yet have access to fibre.
