New Zealand medical tech startup Veriphi has launched a crowdfunding round for expansion in Australia.The company, based in Auckland’s Devonport ferry terminal, has ambitions to tap into a global market it says is worth up to US$13 billion (NZ$21.8b).The move comes just two months after Veriphi secured its first commercial contract, with a Melbourne hospital, following 15 years of research and development.It has developed a verification system for intravenous (IV) drugs using laser spectrometry, cloud computing and AI.
