Vodafone New Zealand has appointed Barrenjoey and UBS to advise it on the possible sale of its passive mobile infrastructure tower assets. This includes such physical infrastructure such as towers, masts, poles, foundations, and other facilities, which are essential to providing its services but give it no competitive advantage.Other assets such as spectrum, core mobile network infrastructure, the radio network, and backhaul systems will remain owned by Vodafone, which will use capital raised by the sale of the so-called "TowerCo"...
