The Commerce Commission today censured two of the country's largest telecommunication companies over the way they’ve previously charged customers. The more serious of the two saw brands owned by ASX-listed Vocus Group fined $121,500 for misleading and overcharging thousands of customers. Retail telecommunications providers CallPlus Services - trading as Slingshot - Flip Services and Orcon all pleaded guilty to 13 charges under the Fair Trading Act for conduct that occurred between 2012 and 2018, the regulator said in a statement.
