The New Zealand Shareholders' Association (NZSA) has awarded the independent directors of Tilt Renewables with the 2021 Beacon Award, which recognises outstanding governance.Fiona Oliver, Anne Urlwin, Phillip Strachan and Geoff Swier have taken the prize for their role in navigating a takeover bid from Infratil and Mercury NZ in 2018.Tilt was subject to a takeover offer from the two companies, which together already held a 71% stake, at $2.30 per share.The independent directors' committee, chaired by Fiona Oliver, advised minority share...
