An influx of American and resurgent Chinese visitors through New Zealand's summer high season helped boost major hotel revenues by 9% year-on-year.Hotels in Queenstown, Christchurch, Nelson and Marlborough continue to set the bar for occupancy and revenues, with per room revenue (RevPAR) up a fifth on the prior year through January, according to Hotel Data NZ.In January the country’s main hotel supply, representing 42,784 available rooms, was 72% occupied at an average daily rate (ADR) of $234.24.That’s as provisional Statistics...
