New self-contained AIA zone awaits high-risk travellers

Split into two arrival terminals, Auckland International Airport (AIA) is now ready to handle two classes of arrivals when the trans-Tasman bubble opens up. This will mean the number of flights over the ditch jump from 19 this week, to about 150 departures and arrivals from April 19, operated by only three airlines – Air New Zealand, Jetstar and Qantas.Arriving visitors on those flights will head to zone A – the ‘green zone’ – reserved for returning Kiwis or arriving Australians.
