By Hannah Lynch Aug. 10 (BusinessDesk) - Turners & Growers, the fruit marketer controlled by Germany’s BayWa Aktiengesellschaft, posted a 2.2 percent increase in first-half profit and is on track to improve its full-year operating result. Profit rose to $7 million in the six months ended June 30, from $6.9 million a year earlier, the Auckland-based company said in a statement. Sales increase 1.9 percent to $478 million.
