Warehouse heartened by Q1 sales growth, improved margins

By Gavin Evans Nov. 9 (BusinessDesk) - Warehouse Group says it is encouraged by a 3.6 percent increase in first-quarter sales and improved margins at its core Warehouse chain and stationery outlets. The company said the rise in group sales to $668.3 million was particularly encouraging given sales in the first-quarter last year fell 1.7 percent.
