In 2.01pm trading in New York, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.1 percent, while the Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 0.9 percent. In 1.46pm trading, the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index gained 0.3 percent. The Nasdaq climbed to a record high 6,100.73.
