The best thing to ever happen to the New Zealand telecommunications sector was the arrival of a third mobile network operator in 2009 in the form of 2degrees.For that, we largely have to thank the entrepreneur Tex Edwards, who persevered for years in his quest to get a mobile network off the ground.
