A buoyant building and home renovation market helped Australian hardware giant Bunnings double net income to $52.3 million to June, from $25.1m last year.The Wesfarmers-owned building materials and DIY retailer pushed revenues up by almost $300m to $1.6 billion. It paid a dividend to its parent of $86.1m.Selling expenses climbed to $330.6m from $287.3m, as its New Zealand operation absorbed some of the additional costs of doing business under covid restrictions, including investing more into digital sales and its 'click and collect' sys...
