AFT Pharmaceuticals to distribute Maxigesic in US

AFT Pharmaceuticals has announced an agreement with Alexso to distribute Maxigesic Rapid tablets in the United States.

The New Zealand-based company said the launch of its patented pharmaceutical in the US, the world's largest pharma market, is expected to take place during this financial year.

AFT's managing director, Dr Hartley Atkinson, expressed delight with the partnership, highlighting Alexso's focus on non-opioid pain management solutions.

The agreement aims to provide physicians in the US with an effective alternative to opioid medications.

AFT also revealed that negotiations are ongoing with other distributors for additional market channels in the country.
