Agria cancels special meeting at PGG Wrightson

Agria has withdrawn its request for a special shareholder meeting to consider director changes at PGG Wrightson.

The agricultural company's board has welcomed this decision and determined that the meeting's preparations will not be necessary.

Agria and the PGW board believe that the current composition and majority of the board's membership maintain an appropriate balance of expertise, skills, and independence.
