Air New Zealand has released upgraded earnings guidance for the first half of the 2023 financial year, with earnings expected to be between $295 million and $325 million.

This is due to strong travel demand across the domestic and international networks, as well as a recent decline in jet fuel prices which has accelerated the airline's financial recovery.

Despite this, the airline is not providing full year guidance at this time, citing potential risks such as fuel price volatility, inflationary pressures and increased costs.
