Promisia Healthcare Limited has reached an agreement to acquire the Aldwins House aged care facility in Christchurch and is in talks with another aged care services provider that is closing its facility, offering its 40 residents the opportunity to transfer to Aldwins House.
The facility currently has capacity for 145 residents and currently has 52 residents.
Depending on the number of residents transferring to Aldwins House, its occupancy rate may increase significantly this month and PHL expects to provide an updated occupancy rate in two weeks.
